Help Us Reimagine Our Playground

At the Co-op, we believe the environment is a powerful teacher, shaping how children explore, imagine, and learn. Our playground has long been a space where children develop skills, discover new possibilities, and engage in joyful play. Now it is time to reimagine it for the next generation.

Suzy Blanchard, our founding director, helped create the original playground in 1999. After her passing this year, her family invited donations in her memory. These gifts now serve as the steppingstones for this renovation.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 (about 10% of the total project construction budget) through this fundraiser to fund the initial design and planning phase, helping us bring this exciting vision to life. This is just the beginning of a new chapter for the playground. As the project moves forward, there will be opportunities for the community to get involved and support future phases.

Every gift and every share with friends, family, and networks helps set this project in motion.

With the removal of the previous play structure (donated by a Co-op family, but unfortunately not meant for long-term childcare use), there is an opportunity to bring in a new structure that can meet the needs of the children.

The side of the playground designated for our younger children is well loved and needs some modern updates.
