Colorado Firefighter Jiu Jitsu Club was created to support the mental health and well-being of firefighters and first responders through jiu jitsu, connection, and community.

First responders spend their careers taking care of others. CFJJC creates a place where they can step onto the mats, train alongside people who understand the demands of the job, build meaningful relationships, and take care of themselves in the process.

Jiu jitsu is the foundation of our club, but we also recognize that sometimes the mats aren’t enough. There are times when professional mental health support is needed, and asking for that help shouldn’t come with unnecessary barriers or stigma.

As CFJJC grows, part of our mission is to help connect fellow firefighters and first responders with qualified mental health professionals when they need them, providing a path to support outside of departmental red tape and helping remove some of the stigma that can prevent people from reaching out in the first place.

Through open mats, training opportunities, community events, mental health resources, and partnerships with local jiu jitsu academies, we want to build a community where taking care of your mental health is treated with the same importance as taking care of your physical health.

Your donation helps us provide training opportunities, host events, support outreach, connect first responders with resources, and continue growing a community centered around connection and first responder mental health.

Whether you train with us, support from the sidelines, or simply believe in the mission. Thank you for helping us take care of those who spend their lives taking care of others.

Check on your brothers. Keep showing up
