Every day, children are discovering who they are, how they relate to others, and how they will use their voice in the world.

At the Center for Nonviolence, we believe leadership begins earlier than most people think. Through FACES Nonviolent Leadership and Youth of Survivors Support, we primarily work with children in kindergarten through fifth grade, helping them recognize their own power, understand the strength of working together, and recognize when power is being used in ways that harm rather than help.

We believe children deserve to grow up knowing that power is not something to hold over others. It is something to discover within themselves and use alongside others to build stronger relationships, healthier communities, and a more peaceful world.

Your gift creates welcoming, engaging spaces where children feel safe to learn, play, and grow. It helps provide sensory tools, fidgets, celebration moments, and other simple resources that help every child feel supported and ready to learn.

Support Youth of Survivors programming, giving children a place to build confidence, find belonging, and practice nonviolent leadership while their caregivers receive support. As a thank you, you'll receive a "No One Does It Alone" art print by Raul Perez.

Celebrate our 45th anniversary by helping bring FACES Nonviolent Leadership to even more children. Your support helps fund interactive leadership sessions where students practice Power Within, Power With, and Power Over while building skills they will carry into every classroom, friendship, and community they help shape. As a thank you, you'll receive a handcrafted gift created by children in our programming.
