ABOUT CFRI

CFRI was formed in 1975 by a small group of CF family members whose children were not expected to survive their teen years. Initially focused on research, CFRI has significantly expanded its programs to meet our community's evolving needs.

Since our founding 50 years ago, CFRI has provided funding to support nearly 300 innovative CF research projects that have moved us closer to a cure. We provide many educational programs and resources, raise CF awareness of CF and advocate for access to quality care and therapies. Recognizing the many physical, emotional and financial challenges experienced by those impacted by CF, we offer counseling support, retreats, wellness classes and virtual support groups.
