🌿 Join Bishop Kelly in Creating a Greener, Healthier Future in Guatemala! 🌎

Imagine waking up to the breathtaking beauty of Lake Atitlán, surrounded by lush mountains—but also knowing that the region faces serious environmental challenges. Deforestation threatens water sources, soil health, and local communities who depend on these natural resources. That’s where Wellkind Guatemala ONG comes in—restoring forests, empowering local families, and creating sustainable solutions for a brighter future.

🌱 Who We Are Supporting: Wellkind Guatemala ONG

Reforesting the Highlands – Over 100,000 trees planted to combat erosion and protect vital water sources.
Water Security – Restoring natural springs to provide clean drinking water for local communities.
Education & Engagement – Teaching local schools and families about conservation and sustainability.

🚀 Bishop Kelly Students: Hands-On Impact & Global Leadership

This isn’t just a trip—it’s an opportunity for Bishop Kelly students to take action and be part of real-world change. As participants in this impact adventure, students will:

🌳 Plant trees to restore vital ecosystems and ensure water security for future generations.
🌱 Work in Wellkind’s tree nursery—helping grow tens of thousands of native trees.
🏫 Support local schools by engaging in service projects and environmental education.
📢 Raise awareness—both in Guatemala and back home—about the crucial link between forests, water, and public health.

💡 Beyond the Trip: Bishop Kelly Students as Environmental Ambassadors

Students won’t just make an impact in Guatemala—they’ll take what they’ve learned and share it with their own communities. By documenting their journey, giving presentations, and spreading awareness, they will:

🎤 Inspire peers and families to support global sustainability efforts.
🌍 Build leadership skills as advocates for climate action and environmental justice.
💧 Highlight how local actions—like tree planting—have global ripple effects.

💧 Why Trees = Clean Water = Public Health

Every tree planted protects local water sources. More trees mean:

Less soil erosion, keeping water clean and safe.
Restored springs that provide fresh drinking water.
A healthier environment for families who rely on the land.
