Stand Up Placer provides a biannual 70+ hour state-certified Crisis Intervention Training course.

By completing this training, participants will be equipped to offer vital direct client services, including crisis line support, forensic exam accompaniment and peer counseling. This is the same comprehensive training that our dedicated staff members complete.

We ask for a nominal participation fee to help us provide the necessary training materials and special speaker fees. We truly appreciate your support!

Who We Are

Stand Up Placer is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to empowering Placer County survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking to heal from the trauma and create new lives of strength and self-sufficiency. We take pride in our community, engaging and inspiring Placer County residents to end the legacy of abuse.

We are governed by a volunteer board of directors with paid staff members and volunteers working together to provide around-the-clock services to victims of abuse and their families.
