We are a 501c3 approved California Non-Profit design community that furnishes and decorates homes for families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness.

We are currently working with a hardworking single mother and her teenage son in need of some help.  They've had to flee a domestic violence situation, have been homeless on and off, often not knowing where they'd sleep at night, and are now trying to start over again together.  Recovering from the loss of her beloved father, a few months later losing a close friend, and then a recent surgery has prevented the mom from being able to work, but she is on the mend and ready to start anew.  They now thankfully have a roof over their heads, but their apartment is essentially empty -- mattresses on the floor, sparse and broken hand-me-down furniture and very insufficient lighting. 

Please help us provide this family with furnishings to create a functional, decent and beautiful space where they can feel safe and cared for.  

Our goals are to:

1)  Make sure the son has a nice spot to himself to do his homework so he can continue to excel in high school,

2)  Give the mom the chance to thrive in a space she can be proud of, where she can feel comfortable, cozy and welcomed when she comes home.
