We expanded our understudy program, which means extra rehearsals and costumes, extra coordination, and most importantly, extra care. We’re also thrilled to share that our world premiere of Running After Shadows received the prestigious Rella Lossy Award. This honor is given blindly. Judges don’t know the name of the play, theater or playwright, which makes it a powerful affirmation of the story itself. It’s a testament to the kind of fresh, resonant work we champion at City Lights.

As we look ahead, we’re dreaming big. We’re nurturing new voices, deepening our community connections, and laying the groundwork for a strong, sustainable future. But we can’t do it without you.
