Calling all animals lovers!

Our wonderful in house vet tech has been doing something for years that he doesn't talk about often.

He and his lovely fiancé rescue street cats.

A little over a year ago, they rescued a beautiful older mother cat and her daughter peaches off the street in Elgin, TX. Peaches came to them about to burst and had a small litter of adorable kitties that Brandon and Cat have cared for. Maus, one of the kitties, they kept for their own to keep mama Peaches company.

They've lived happily at the ranch ever since.

Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago, Maus-now about a year old-broke her leg! Brandon and Cat were able to get her surgery and get a pin put in the back leg to try and save it.

Also unfortunately, Maus is young and has lots of energy. Even in medical boarding, she managed to re-break the leg.

We got the devastating call this morning: Maus is going to lose her back leg.

Brandon and Cat are two kind souls who live minimally and spend the majority of their time donating time to rescue cats and volunteering at Happy Tails Sanctuary at Maynard Ranch.

They had already exhausted their resources from the expensive surgery of having the leg pinned and are now facing the devastation of their sweet baby kitty losing her back leg and the cost of another surgery!

Cat and Brandon, even in this time of stress in their lives, have continued to not only care for their kitties but to continue volunteering and caring for the doggies we have left at Happy Tails Sanctuary.

These 2 beautiful people are asking for our help with their kitty. And we asking for yours. If you've ever wanted to donate to a good cause, now is the time and this is the Cause.

Maus is inevitably going to have a hard time learning to live without her back leg and we'd like to ease the pain and burden on her and her lovely owners as much as we can. Please help us do exactly that.
