Cleveland Maidan Association is expanding its focus on trauma care and medical education to strengthen Ukraine’s healthcare system and improve treatment for people wounded in the war.

Through this initiative, we connect American and Ukrainian medical professionals to share knowledge, develop advanced surgical skills, and build lasting clinical partnerships. CMA helps organize medical conferences in Ukraine and the United States, brings experienced American surgeons to Ukraine for hands-on training, and arranges advanced instruction for Ukrainian surgeons at leading U.S. medical centers.

These exchanges give physicians opportunities to discuss complex cases, observe new approaches to treatment, and refine techniques alongside experienced colleagues. Participants bring that knowledge back to their hospitals, where it can inform patient care and support the continued development of their medical teams.

By investing in education and long-term professional collaboration, CMA is helping expand Ukraine’s capacity to treat severe trauma and complex injuries with greater expertise and confidence.

The goal is sustainable impact: equipping Ukrainian medical professionals with skills and experience they can share with colleagues and apply to future patients, strengthening care for years to come.
