Since the most recent Russian invasion, we have focused our efforts on procuring medical supplies, sending humanitarian aid to Ukrainian hospitals and refugee camps, financially supporting families impacted by the war, and coordinating with partners to get life-saving aid to those who need it the most. With volunteers both in the US and on the ground in Ukraine, we work to make sure that aid is delivered to where it is most needed quickly and effectively. 100% of your donation goes directly to humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

In 2024, we launched the Ukraine Medic Training Program in partnership with Frontline Ukraine and Come Back Alive Foundation. The project aims to expand training capacity, enabling 27,000 medics to be trained to save lives.

Our History

On January 21, 2014, a Facebook post rallied Cleveland’s Ukrainian community to address the Euromaidan Revolution in Kyiv. The community quickly organized, raising funds for food, clothing, and medical supplies. Meetings continued regularly, alongside demonstrations and fundraisers in support of the Revolution.

In March 2015, the Cleveland Maidan Association became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, enhancing its fundraising capabilities. As financial aid was sent to the families of the Heavenly Hundred, conflict escalated in eastern Ukraine in April 2014, evolving into a full-scale war. Cleveland Maidan Association shifted focus to sending medical aid through a partnership with MedWish International, supplying Ukrainian hospitals with repurposed medical equipment.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Association intensified its efforts, providing critical medical and humanitarian aid to civilians, hospitals, and refugee camps. With volunteers in the U.S., Ukraine, and Poland, they ensure swift and effective delivery of aid where it is needed most.

Additional Programs

The Cleveland Maidan Association supports Ukraine through community engagement, uniting individuals via events, fundraisers, and educational initiatives. These efforts raise awareness and mobilize resources, fostering sustained support for Ukraine's recovery and resilience.

The Association has also sent millions in humanitarian aid, focusing on medical missions for surgeries and prosthetics. By partnering with hospitals and specialized teams, they provide life-saving care and rehabilitation, aiding both civilians and soldiers in their physical and emotional recovery.
