Come celebrate literacy with the coolest open mic in town! The Dirty Gerund Poetry Show is bringing their mix of live music and compelling performance to get students hyped about reading, writing, and public speaking. Bring a poem that inspired you, or share your own creations!

Please join us for our library ribbon cutting and open house! We hope you can make it!
We are also excited to share that instead of biweekly library visits, all of our classes will have weekly library visits. This means our library is staffed from 8:30-2:30 Monday through Friday by parent and grandparent volunteers. We are so thankful of the dedication and support of our community.

Hello La Familia/Chandler Magnet school library supporters! We wanted to update you that the library furniture we ordered in May finally arrived and the library is looking like a library! It's been amazing to see students' eyes light up as they walk by and whisper to each other "did you see the library?" We are almost ready to open and let students check out books. We are waiting to learn our new school name, and then we can order barcodes for the check in/check out system. We are almost there. Thank you all so much for your support and we can't wait to share the library in action!

Hello supporters! Just a note to keep you updated on our school library project. We are excited to share that books are arriving in the mail almost daily and we have almost 6,000 books to catalogue and process! We have ordered some furniture and we look forward to working hard this summer to get the library ready for the fall.
In addition to the money raised here we have received $20,000 worth of used bookshelves donated as well as about $11,000 worth of books. So far volunteers have donated about 212 hours to the project. We are so thankful to you all for all your support, and anything you can to to help share the campaign to help us spread the word and get us to 100% of our goal is much appreciated! We are SO close.
