Our Story: 20 Years of Leadership, Impact, and Community

Conexión was launched in 2005 to prepare HispanicLatino leaders for the growing responsibilities and opportunities that shifting demographics and economic complexity demanded. What began with just 10 participants in our first cohort has grown to nearly 60 participants per year and a national network of nearly 600 alumni. Alongside more than 200 executive mentors, this community has built not only a leadership pipeline, but also a powerful network of trust, support, and impact.

Today, Conexión’s programs are open to individuals from all backgrounds, rooted in 21st-century demographics and focused on the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world. We remain committed to our founding vision—ensuring that our communities, organizations, and nation can thrive with strong, values-driven leaders at the helm.

Now, as we celebrate 20 years, we stand at a turning point. Current and future leaders are ready—but they need your support to rise. As part of our 20th Anniversary, we launched the Make Your Mark Campaign with a special goal: $20,000 in honor of 20 years of cultivating leaders.
