13th Annual Cubcat CRAWL

To benefit Hendersonville Elementary School

Each year, Cubcats Run And Walk for Learning to raise money for our school. The CRAWL is a fun, family-friendly 1.5- or 3-mile race hosted by the Hendersonville Elementary PTO, with proceeds going to help achieve the financial goals for the school year. These goals include a significant investment in tutoring, purchase of clear touch boards for classrooms, teacher allotments for each teacher to purchase basic supplies for their classrooms, an end of the year celebration for our students, and more.

The CRAWL is not just a race. It is a fun spring festival for the whole family. This year, we'll have Bounce Runs and a Dance Party with a live DJ. Join us for Community Partners, Retail Vendors, Carnival Games, and Concessions for Purchase. Plus, we'll have lots of STEM Activities like the Henderson County Swift Water Rescue Team and a Fire Truck from the Hendersonville Fire Department.

Shirts are First Come First Serve.

Here is what you can expect at the event:

4:30pm Day of Event Registration and Check-in. Visit & shop our vendors and sponsors area.

5:30pm Dance Party Warm-up

5:45 pm Adaptive Roller Race begins!
Get ready to CRAWL, scoot, zoom, and roll around our all-paved Cubcat course! Everyone can join—little legs, big energy, and speedy wheels welcome!

6:00 pm Race begins!
Enjoy a beautiful run/jog/walk throughout the friendly neighborhood surrounding Hendersonville Elementary. Runners can expect a paved surface, with moderate hills.

All children in the race must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.

4:30-7:30pm Food Options and Concessions Available for Purchase.

4:30-7:30pm Visit & Shop our Vendors and Sponsors.

This year, we anticipate over 400 participants, including hundreds of children from HES and surrounding schools, along with dozens of volunteers that will help ensure a successful race. The course will be located throughout the beautiful neighborhood surrounding Hendersonville Elementary.

We are looking forward to our most entertaining race yet, and would be thrilled to have you join in on all the fun. Registration is ONLINE ONLY.

HES PTO

Liability Waiver

By registering for the Cubcat CRAWL, you acknowledge and agree that neither the Henderson County Board of Education, nor any of its employees, teachers, sponsors, agents, or volunteers, nor the Hendersonville Elementary School PTO, including its Board of Directors and any of its members, will assume responsibility for any claims resulting from injury to you or your child during participation in this event. Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s whereabouts and safety for the duration of the event. Each parent/guardian agrees that their child must remain with a registered adult at all times during the race. Children are not permitted to run the race unaccompanied under any circumstances.

By completing this registration, I release the Henderson County Board of Education, its employees, teachers, sponsors, agents, and volunteers, as well as the Hendersonville Elementary School PTO, its Board of Directors, and its members, from any responsibility or liability for claims resulting from injury to myself and/or my child(ren) while participating in the Cubcat CRAWL. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Henderson County Board of Education, its employees, teachers, sponsors, agents, or volunteers, and the Hendersonville Elementary School PTO, its Board of Directors, and its members from any and all claims, actions, or causes of action which may arise on account of any injuries or property damage sustained by any child or adult. This indemnity includes, without limitation, court costs, attorney’s fees, judgments, settlements, and all related expenses.

Media Release:
Event registration also grants Hendersonville Elementary School, the Hendersonville Elementary School PTO, and others associated with the HES Cubcat CRAWL the right and permission to use and publish photographs, film, videotapes, electronic images, and/or sound recordings made in connection with this event. This release includes any and all liability related to such use and authorizes the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage, and/or distribution of these materials without limitation, and waives any right to compensation related to such use.
