Who We Are

We are Crisis Relief and Recovery, a dedicated team of trained disaster response and relief professionals committed to bringing immediate, impactful aid to communities affected by natural disasters. We bring leadership and order to chaotic environments to organize impact and direct resources directly to the hands that need them most. We target underserved communities that are hit the hardest that already have a long term partner serving in the area.

The Situation

Flash flood warning issued for Adams and York counties

The National Weather Service a flash flood warning for parts of Adams and western York counties until 10:45 a.m Aug 9, 2024.

Rainfall:

On Aug 9, 2024 the remnants of once-Hurricane DEBBY moved into PA from the South in the form of rain. Narrow bands of rain set up over parts of the area and produced more than 6 inches of rain in spots. Much of the region received between 2 and 4 inches of rainfall.

Our Mission

We are overseeing a local initial response and have planned multiple workdays for a rebuild to help 2 elderly residents formulate a plan for long-term recovery.

Our Goal: Raising $10,000

We aim to raise $10,000 to fund our rebuild, and we need your support. The majority of your donation will go directly to the families that need help--through rebuild materials, lumber, and necessary hardware . Part of your donation will go to enable our teams on the ground, including logistics, equipment, and communication as we set up an operations center.
