The Catskill Symphony Orchestra gathers the community at SUNY Goodrich Theater for an evening celebrating music, togetherness, and the simple truth that classical music is a place for all. This concert showcases holiday repertoire through a lens of radical inclusion—from beloved carols reimagined for orchestra to contemporary holiday favorites that prove classical music speaks to how we actually celebrate today. There are no prerequisites, no dress codes, no barriers: just an orchestra and a community coming together to experience the transformative power of live music.

The program sparkles with orchestral brilliance—bells, chimes, massed strings, and brass announcing the season's joy—but at its heart, Poinsettia Pops is about something deeper than nostalgia or tradition. It is about belonging. It says to every person in our community: you belong here, your celebration looks like this, and classical music is yours. This concert is BOUNDLESS in belonging—a declaration that the symphony is not an exclusive institution but a gathering place where families of all backgrounds, traditions, and circumstances come together to experience the magic of shared music.
