Story

In 2019, Crisis Support Services of Nevada (CSSNV) helped over 83,000 people across Nevada and the nation who were struggling through crisis. CSSNV’s well-trained, dedicated staff and volunteers, provide behavioral health, suicide prevention, and crisis intervention, 24/7/365, helping them get the services they need.

In 2020, CSSNV was called on by State and National officials to help plan and provide immediate crisis intervention to people experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health side effects of COVID-19, including front line medical personnel, law enforcement, and other first responders, as well as people of all ages and cultures.

The immediate crisis intervention through telephone and text message has saved hundreds of thousands of lives since 1966 when the organization first opened its doors.

The 4th Annual Compassion Through the Crisis virtual event will highlight the invaluable services that Crisis Support Services of Nevada provides each day, the collaboration being done to develop Nevada’s Crisis Care Response System, and how YOU can help to build a system that will support Nevadans and others struggling with a behavioral health crisis, as well as victims of abuse and sexual assault. Public awareness and contributions from this event allow us to continue to provide vital crisis services to those in need throughout the state of Nevada.

Join CSSNV’s Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers at the 4th Annual Compassion Through the Crisis on October 22nd at 8:00 AM, for our first online virtual event.  Your attendance will help make this year’s event an even greater success than previous years. Your generosity will help our vision of being known throughout Nevada as the beacon of hope in people’s darkest moments; and to make major strides to break societal stigmas about shame, victimization, and mental health issues through advocacy, awareness-building, and education. We are determined to play a significant role in lowering the state’s suicide rate by having a presence, volunteers, and donors throughout the entire state.  Your participation will help save lives!

Who Should Attend?

  • Behavioral health providers
  • Law Enforcement and other First Responders
  • Governmental officials and staff
  • Anyone providing behavioral health and crisis intervention services across Nevada

Sponsorship

Sponsorship of the 4th Annual Compassion Through the Crisis virtual event is a great way to support the CSSNV mission and to start the momentum of giving, as well as getting your business’ information out to the hundreds of people who will attend this annual event. We would be honored if you would join our list of sponsors. In the last few years, we’ve had the likes of Renown, Sierra Air, and Meadows Bank, to name just a few.

Our “Circle of Compassion” sponsorships begin at $5,000. If you have a different amount in mind we would certainly be honored by that as well. Please let us know if you would be interested in partnering with us as a sponsor by emailing Kyla Willard at [email protected] or calling her at (775) 221-7638.

Thank you to this year's sponsors for their generous support!
