My dedication to youth development is deeply personal. Born and raised in Hartford, I’ve experienced firsthand the transformative power of after-school and summer programs. These opportunities shaped my own life, and it’s that same sense of purpose that drives me today — to ensure that children continue to benefit from these life-changing programs for years to come.
I am incredibly grateful to have found an agency like ConnectiKids, where I can channel my passion and work toward this important mission. ConnectiKids has been a pillar of support for Hartford’s children, helping them reach academic goals, offering an outlet for artistic expression, building self-confidence, and providing a safe space to talk. Over the past 24 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving the organization in various capacities, from board member to consultant, and now, in my current role.
Reaching our Annual Campaign goal will empower ConnectiKids to continue delivering high-quality afterschool and summer programs that create both immediate and lasting change in the lives of children. Your support will ensure more children have access to positive role models, enriching programs, and engage in summer activities they might otherwise miss out on. Most importantly, it helps us create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive — and ultimately, reach their full potential.
