Fool House, the ultimate 90s tribute band, will be hitting the stage and playing all your favorite party anthems. Between their mullets, iconic outfits, and the band’s choreographed dance moves, Fool House evokes a sense of nostalgia that resonates with audiences of all ages.

Every year, we gather to celebrate an extraordinary person — and every year, this night reminds me why Cassie's legacy matters so much to this community.

This year, we're doing something a little different. Tickets are free. I want every person who loved Cassie — or who simply believes in what the Cassandra Voss Center stands for — to be in that room on September 18th. What keeps this night going, and what keeps the CVC's work going, is your generosity and a donation of any size makes a real difference. So come celebrate with us, and give what you can.

Remembering Cassandra Voss

Cassandra Jane Voss was the kind of person who made you feel like the most important person in the room. Her curiosity was contagious, her warmth was genuine, and her belief in the power of real conversation — across difference, across divides — never wavered.

The Cassandra Voss Center was built in 2013 to honor that spirit. In the thirteen years since, it has become a place where students discover themselves, where hard conversations happen with care, and where Cassie's belief that dialogue can change the world continues to take root.

This September, we celebrate Cassie's 41st birthday and the CVC's 13th anniversary. The best way we know how to do that is to fill a room with the people who carry her forward.

The party continues at EPIC Event Center immediately after Fool House performance.

The Main Event: Fool House

Fool House isn't a cover band — they're an experience. The party opens with a video DJ spinning the hits that defined a decade, then seamlessly hands off to a full two-hour live band performance that turns the dance floor into a time machine.

From Oasis to Nirvana, Britney to Backstreet Boys, Dr. Dre to Green Day — every genre of the 90s is on the table. If you lived through it, you'll be singing every word. If you didn't, you're about to understand what all the fuss was about.

Dressing up is highly encouraged. Dig out the flannel, the velvet choker, the windbreaker, the frosted tips. The more committed, the better.

Book Release & Coffee with Cassie

A brand-new book edited by Kurt Voss and Carol Bruess titled: Maybe Life Hurts – So We Don't Miss Her Lessons, is being released in conjunction with this year's celebration. The book is available for pre-order now and will be available for pickup at the Cassandra Voss Center during the Coffee with Cassie event on September 18th at 9 AM.
