💡 Why This Camp Was Different

Camp Learn and Lead wasn’t just a place for kids to spend the summer—it was a launchpad for Baltimore’s next generation of women leaders.
In a community where options are often limited, our kids explored their voices, sharpened their life skills, and stood tall in their purpose.

What made this camp extraordinary:
✔️ Yes, Chef! – Real culinary experiences in a commercial kitchen
✔️ Journaling & Reading Aloud – Building literacy and confidence
✔️ Teen Aides Trained – First jobs, first leadership roles
✔️ Daily Life Skills – Cleaning, cooking, presenting, collaborating
✔️ Field Trips With Purpose – From bees to gardens to agriculture
✔️ End-of-Camp Showcase – Campers shared projects, reflections, and leadership takeaways
