Are you a mom who is raising Jewish children in the greater Hartford area? Do you find it difficult to navigate conversations about antisemitism with your families, friends, and members of your community? So do we!

Yaysh has partnered with Project Shema, a leader in antisemitism education, to bring you a high impact, immersive, practical learning experience that will help you learn ways to move through these conversations more confidently. This highly-subsidized program is open to moms raising Jewish children under the age of 18 who want to develop the skills and understanding needed to navigate difficult conversations about antisemitism--both at home and with others in the community. Project Shema is a training and support organization focused on addressing contemporary antisemitism with an emphasis on how anti-Jewish ideas and implicit biases can be carried alongside conversations about Israel.

Because of Yaysh's generous subsidy, your cost to enroll in this workshop is only $54. (Versus $250) You've really got to act quickly though, because space is limited to allow for plenty of interaction, practice, and reflection. Participants in the workshop must be committed to attending BOTH sessions:

SESSION 1: November 3, 2024 - Virtual - An Introduction to Antisemitism 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.

SESSION 2: November 10, 2024 - In-Person - Antisemitism Workshop - 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Hartford (address provided upon registration)
