Construction for Change’s (CfC) Spring Fundraiser, Building the Next Story Together!, is more than an event—it’s a movement. Through storytelling, community engagement, and collective action, we are mobilizing the resources needed to create equitable and sustainable social infrastructure for communities in need.

Across the Pacific Northwest, nonprofits face rising costs, space limitations, urban displacement, and an increasing demand for social services. Many operate in under-resourced spaces, restricting their ability to serve their communities effectively. Research from the Seattle Foundation Civic Commons Project and Philanthropy Northwest demonstrates that investing in nonprofit infrastructure enhances equity, accessibility, and service capacity—especially in rapidly growing cities like Seattle, Portland, and Spokane.

By expanding and strengthening our regional presence, CfC will be positioned to:

This event will highlight the power of investing in social infrastructure, recognize BIPOC and women leaders driving infrastructure solutions, and showcase rapid builds that provide life-saving shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Pacific Northwest.
