Join us for Tiegerman’s 22^nd Annual Chef’s for Children Food & Wine Tasting – an unforgettable evening blending culinary excellence with purpose. Our theme this year – “Every Bite Builds a Brighter Tomorrow” celebrates the journey from school to adulthood for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities – our Recipe for making young adults work-ready!

This year, we’re proud to spotlight and honor Loretta Radford from Tiegerman’s Culinary Program, Kristina Black, a Teacher’s Assistant at Tiegerman High School and Tiegerman High School student Connor Rodriguez – an Entrepreneur, Author, and Baker behind Connor’s Canine Cookies - alongside his family for their inspiring dedication and achievements. In addition, we are thrilled to honor Patty Castrogiovanni and her inclusive team of bakers from Special Sweets in Garden City. Patty and her team have been featured participants at this event for the last 4 years! They have also been recognized in the LI Newsday, and most recently, Patty was a guest on Philanthropy in Phocus hosted by Tommy DiMisa.

Tiegerman Work Ready

Our Work Ready program equips young adults with the practical skills, training, and confidence needed to succeed in today’s workforce. Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and job coaching, participants are empowered to explore meaningful employment paths tailored to their strengths and interests.

Tiegerman Community Services (TCS)

Tiegerman Community Services (TCS) extends our mission beyond the classroom, offering adult day services, clinical supports, and community integration opportunities. TCS helps individuals gain independence and build a life of dignity, inclusion, and purpose.
