One thing that can make or break a small rescue is the money spent medical bills. The dogs we receive are usually not spayed/neutered or up to date on shots. With Cane Corsos, there are a couple of other issues that are common and one of them is the notorious cherry eye! Many dogs come in with them and are easily looked over by adopters...

So we are asking for your help in covering these reoccurring medical costs. On the low end, repairing 1 eye costs us $300. There are also occasions where the surgery has to be done again if the healing doesn't go well. We're not saying we don't like cherries, but there's a time and a place for everything... and we think cherries go in pie, not eyes!

We are asking for your help for Marz. Marz came from the Prince George's County Animal Shelter and although he wasn't on an urgent list, we got an urgent call because he was experiencing kennel stress. You know our Corsos are sensitive guys so we couldn't have that. But in pulling him so quickly, we miss out on essential pledges that help with costs of medical needs... so we must turn to you.
