Mother/Daughter Lunch & High Tea | Saturday, Oct 3 | 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm | Sts. Cyril & Methodius Parish/PLB
- Facilitated by Coleen Kelly Mast (creator of LoveEd)
- Mother & daughter seminar for 7th /8th graders (ages 12-14), featuring LoveEd level 2.
- 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Location: Parish Center
- Address: 608 Sobieski St, Lemont, IL 60439
- Cost: $50 per parent/child
  - Includes child workbook, parent guide, food, and beverage
- High tea will include hot and cold tea and plenty of finger foods to accompany.

FORMAT

A child is accompanied to this event by a parent (or trusted adult over 21 yrs of age) of the same sex.
A trained facilitator will guide parents/children through the first acts of the LoveEd workbook and corresponding videos.
The evening is broken into segments, allowing for private parent/child conversations about the material that is presented from LoveEd videos and books.
Women and girls are in one room and men and boys are in a different room.

This encounter provides an opportunity to talk with your child about Love, Sexuality, and Relationships in a guided method in an age-appropriate manner.

About EWTN Filming

Living Divine Mercy | The Divine Mercy

We're blessed to have EWTN showcase LoveED in a fall episode of Living Divine Mercy, which is hosted by Fr. Chris Alar.

They desire to record a live group session of LoveEd to help the EWTN audience get a feel for how LoveEd can be used in a parish setting.

The goal is to record the backs of participants, ensuring faces of participants are not aired on television.

There will be one videographer attending the session and will remain as inconspicuous as possible and will not record any individual parent/child conversations. The goal is simply to get video footage.

With this being said, the videographer would love to interview any parents (and children) who are willing to share their feedback after the group session - time permitting.

If you choose not to have your image and likeness recorded, please let us know so we can ensure the videographer will not record you.
