Avenues Early Childhood Services is excited to announce our first formal charity fundraising dinner event: Rt 66 Hollywood Gala on October 26 to be held at Red Rock State Park from 5:30pm. We will have a live band, cash bar, silent auction, and food catered by Navajo Technical University.

Our Co-Founders, Regina and Priya both have a passion for children and started Avenues in 2015. We provide no cost support to families throughout all of McKinley County. Our only eligibility requirement is that the family enters during pregnancy and/or has a child under five years old. Each of our families sets their own goals for their participation in our program including: monitoring their child’s development and social emotional well being; obtaining gainful employment; returning to school; finding stable housing to name a few. We provide education on child development, infant mental health, home safety, safe sleep, infant massage, and feeding practices. We recently got a grant to develop our own Early Childhood Dental Curriculum.

We partner with other organizations in the community including the Community Pantry and Children’s Library to best serve our families. We are approaching our 10th year of operation and have served over 500 families. We believe all children deserve to be raised in a thriving environment that results in health, happiness, and success. We believe that as a result of our program, social issues related to poverty and generational trauma will no longer have an impact on a child’s future and New Mexico will no longer be ranked at the bottom among all the states for child welfare.

As we continue our mission to enrich the lives of each of our families by empowering and nurturing them through respect, integrity, compassion, and most importantly honoring their individual family unit, we rely heavily on the generosity of individuals like you.
