Help us take our high-CADR air purifier designed for schools and public spaces from a prototype to a product!

We are in the process of developing VELLO, a modular, high Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) air purifier that ships flat, can be assembled in minutes with no tools, and uses non-proprietary MERV-13 and carbon filters. With a maximum airflow of 560 cfm, VELLO will be one of the lowest CADR-per-dollar devices available on the market.

VELLO is at the Alpha prototype stage, and we are in the process of finalizing contracts with product development partners to begin Stage 2, which would scale VELLO from a prototype to a commercial product. We are seeking $10,000 in crowdfunded support to pay our legal team and other overhead fees for December and January, as we negotiate contracts with our product development team and larger grantors.

Once in production, VELLO will support a sustainable clean air access model. Revenue from unit sales, combined with philanthropic support, will be used to provide free or subsidized purifiers to schools, shelters, and other high risk congregate settings that face repeated respiratory threats including PM2.5, VOCs, COVID-19, influenza, wildfire smoke and mold contamination. This infrastructure ensures that individuals and communities with constrained budgets can adopt legacy air safety strategies that maximize health equity.

Thanks to a generous match, donations will be matched 2x up to $2,500 until December 31, 2025!
