Please join Oregon Adventure Theatre for an afternoon workshop exploring the world of Commedia Dell’Arte. Explore the iconic masks, gestures, and stock characters that shaped centuries of comedic theatre. Through book work, hands-on activities and playful experimentation, participants will discover how these larger-than-life figures move, speak, and spark improvisation. No prior experience required, just curiosity and a sense of fun!

This Workshop will be taught by Eleanor Johnson the Artistic Director and Sam Rice the Associate Artistic Director of Oregon Adventure Theatre, who have been working with masks, commedia, and silliness for over a decade. Be prepared to move your body to inhabit these fascinating characters.
