Congress of Communities serves Southwest Detroit through leadership development and meeting the needs of local residents. Your donations allow us to fulfill our mission of providing leadership and facilitating collaboration of residents, youth, and stakeholders to foster a vibrant and sustainable community in Southwest Detroit.

Taking Action por Nuestros Ninos (TANN) Parent Leadership Fellowship

Latinx Youth Council (high school age)
Youth Environmental Healing (high school age)
Informal Child Caregivers Cohort
Advocacy and Policy Change Work
Outreach and engagment attending and supporting more than 80 events a year.

Youth Climate Amabassadors *new program coming soon (spring 2026)
Amigos Childcare - Afterschool latchkey program in partnership with Matrix Head Start *new program coming soon (spring/summer 2026)
New Development - Junction Community Hub (22,000 sq foot building we are trying to purchase and looking for funding to renovate to open)
