15 years ago our CEO Jack Solomon had a vision to help provide resources for families wanting to attend college. He created a platform where he would bring universities to the Chicagolad area to admit and giveaway scholarships on the spot to deserving individuals. This platform has assisted over 10,000 students.

Developing Our Youth has a proud history of facilitating financial assistance for students, having help contribute over $200 million to deserving individuals over the past 15 years. This year we have partnered with Senator Napoleon Harris and his Office of Education to host our yearly scholarship event at South Suburban College. This two day event is scheduled to take place on October 19, 2024 with our Award Ceremony giveaway, and annual Scholarship Fair will be held on October 23, 2024, featuring over 50 institutions and youth resources.

Your sponsorship would greatly impact the lives of these students, providing them with the support they need to pursue higher education. We welcome contributions from individuals, city officials, churches, non-profit organizations, companies, school districts, city police departments, and all other community stakeholders willing to assist.
