MAGLabs - Bringing together the gamer and maker communities!

MAGFest Laboratories, aka "MAGLabs," uplifts the MAGFest values of participation and experimentation, giving everyone the opportunity to create their own adventure! Highlighting and celebrating everyone's inherent ability to create, MAGLabs features workshops, a makerspace, a jam space, a space for independent developers to showcase their work and interact with other creators, and more. Building community through making, this event series gives attendees the opportunity to both learn from and participate in the endless creativity and passion of the gaming community.

MAGLabs has been on hiatus since 2018, but the event is currently being reimagined as a series of one-day events starting in 2025 that will include various workshops, games, musical guests, and more... and will be free and open to the public! 🤩 Help us keep the relaunch of MAGLabs free and accessible to all with your generous donation! About MAGFest:

MAGFest (Music and Gaming Festival), Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission to make the world a better place through video games. We achieve this through numerous events, such as Super MAGFest, MAGWest, MAGStock, and Bit Gen Gamer Fest, collaborating with other events, and by building and empowering a huge community of volunteers and partners. The primary goals of MAGFest include:

To educate the public about video game music, art, and history
To promote public appreciation of video game music, art, and history
To preserve for posterity the culture and history of video games

What makes MAGFest unique is that it's a non-profit event run by fans for fans. There are no corporate sponsors and no over-crowded show floors. MAGFest is built from the ground up to focus on community and fan creations, which creates an environment that no other expo or convention can recreate.
