ALTCS: Tips and Strategies to Applying for Arizona Long-Term Care Services

This program will cover eligibility for the Arizona Long-Term Care System (ALTCS), which covers long-term care services for individuals who are elderly or physically disabled (EPD) or have a developmental disability (DD) diagnosis, and who meet program eligibility requirements. This session will cover (1) eligibility requirements, (2) the pre-admission screening (PAS) process, and (3) how applicants can prepare for the process.

Sey In, Staff Attorney, Disability Rights Arizona

Sey In is the Interim Manager Attorney for the Healthcare Team at Disability Rights Arizona (DRAZ). At DRAZ, he works on the healthcare team and civil rights team. He has negotiated successful settlement agreements improving effective communication for people with disabilities, trained many stakeholders on alternatives to guardianship, and advocated for policy change on behalf of people with disabilities and their families. He completed his undergrad at ASU, went to law school at Hofstra University, and is an Arizona native.
