Dancewave Through College & Beyond (DTCB) has remained steadfast as a trusted New York City institution for over 15 years and is the nation's most comprehensive workforce development program for young artists. We offer three touchpoints throughout the year to help students shape the vision for their future and start gathering the building blocks to make those dreams a reality. Read below and visit our website for additional details about the INFORM, PREPARE, and APPLY engagements that are a part of our 2026 DTCB Program.

INFORM: Tools to support students in the initial phases of dreaming up their career in dance and kickstart a successful application process. The INFORM Artist Toolkit will be available for registered students starting in July.

PREPARE: Workshops, panels, and our signature Program Fair expose students to the diverse options available and embolden them to put their best foot forward at auditions. The PREPARE Virtual Engagement will be Saturday, September 19th - Sunday, September 20th on ZOOM.

APPLY: Classes, panels, networking sessions, and auditions aimed at creating meaningful connections and fostering community amongst the Program representatives and the next generation of artists. The APPLY Hybrid Engagement will be on October 10th, In-person Audition on October 11th at AMDA, Virtual Audition Review on October 17th on ZOOM, and Virtual Audition on October 18th on ZOOM.

Registration Dates:

-Batch 1 | Monday, June 1 at 12pm EST

-Batch 2 | Sunday, June 7 at 12pm EST

-Waitlist | Sunday, June 28 at 12pm EST

PLEASE NOTE:

-All Student Ticket Packages include access to all 3 of these touchpoints. Students should select their Ticket Package based on how they wish to attend APPLY (in-person or virtually) and whether they wish to join the DTCB Audition ('27 graduates only).

-Only 1 Parent/Guardian is permitted to join each student who is attending DTCB APPLY in-person. Not ALL DTCB APPLY Sessions will allow for guardian attendance - you should not expect to be with your dancer all day.

-Only Students who are Seniors in the 2026-2027 School Year and eligible for college admittance in 2027 are able to attend the DTCB Audition.

-For those looking to audition at DTCB, please note that is strategically designed to provide support throughout the entire application process, so participation in all elements; INFORM, PREPARE, and APPLY, is critical to student’s successful participation in the DTCB Program. This is especially true for participation in the DTCB Audition. With this in mind, students must have a Ticket Package for DTCB (In-Person or Virtual) in order to join the waitlist for a “+Audition” Ticket Package so that they are participating in the full DTCB Program and are prepared to join the DTCB Audition if invited to move of of the waitlist. If you were hoping to get a “ +Audition “ Ticket Package but did not, you should get an In-Person or Virtual Ticket Package (non-audition) so that you can join the waitlist for a “+Audition” Ticket Package. This ensures that your student is still joining the DTCB Program in a timely manner, benefiting from all materials leading up to the audition, and will be best equipped for success at the DTCB Audition.

-ALL Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
