DANCEWAVE THROUGH COLLEGE AND BEYOND(DTCB) is Dancewave’s signature workforce development and career fair event. Designed to equip dancers with relevant skills that they need to succeed in their continuing education and careers beyond, DTCB helps build meaningful connections between young artists and programs that can support their dance dreams. With multiple virtual and in-person engagement opportunities, DTCB offers customizable participation options to support program's unique recruitment needs.

We offer three touchpoints throughout the year to help students shape the vision for their future and start gathering the building blocks to make those dreams a reality. These touchpoint also offer various in-person and virtual engagements that allow Participating Programs to connect with students in a way that best supports their Program's recruitment goals. Read below and visit our website for additional details about the INFORM, PREPARE, and APPLY engagements that are a part of our 2026 DTCB Program.

INFORM: Tools to support students in the initial phases of dreaming up their career in dance and kickstart a successful application process. The INFORM Artist Toolkit will be available for registered students starting July 1st.

PREPARE: Workshops, panels, and our signature Program Fair expose students to the diverse options available and embolden them to put their best foot forward at auditions. The PREPARE Virtual Engagement will be Saturday, September 19th - Sunday, September 20th.

APPLY: Classes, panels, networking sessions, and auditions aimed at creating meaningful connections and fostering community amongst the Program representatives and the next generation of artists. The APPLY Hybrid Engagement will be on October 10th, the In-person Audition is on October 11th, and the Virtual Audition is on October 18th.
