Show off your Gingerbread House building skills at this years Gingerbread House Competition while supporting your local nonprofit Daughters of Today Leaders of tomorrow

📍 Drop-Off Details

Date: December 3, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Archive Creative Space, Tulsa, OK

All entries must be delivered during the drop-off window to be eligible for judging

🧁 Judging & Voting

Judging Date: December 4, 2025
Judges’ Panel: Official judging will take place prior to the start of the Gala.
People’s Choice: Gala guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite gingerbread house during the event.
Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced on December 5, 2025.

Winners may choose to: Donate their gingerbread house to support the foundation’s mission, or pick up their gingerbread house and winnings that evening between 9-10pm.

🍭 General Rules & Materials

Edible Construction:

The entire structure must be made of 100% edible materials. Gingerbread should be the main building material.

Base:

Houses must be built on a sturdy base no larger than a standard-size board (no more than 18” x 18”).

Non-Edible Items:

Non-edible materials such as paint, ribbons, or figurines are allowed only on the base for decoration, not on the house itself.

Originality:

All entries must be original creations. Pre-made or store-bought kits are not permitted. Youth 18 years and younger are permitted to use a pre-made or store bought kits

No Refrigeration:

Entries must not contain perishable items or anything requiring refrigeration.

Labeling:

Include your name (or team name) and the title of your gingerbread house on the edge of your base.

👥 Participant & Submission Rules

Entry Limit:

One entry per person or team.

Submission:

Entries must be dropped off in person at Archive Creative Space following the guidelines above

🚫 Prohibited Materials:

Artificial or Non-Edible Interior Materials:
No Styrofoam, wood, cardboard, or non-edible supports.
Perishable Foods: Avoid ingredients that spoil easily or require refrigeration.
Electricity: battery-powered decorations are allowed only.

📸 Presentation

Each house will be photographed for display during the Gala and featured in the People’s Choice voting showcase.
