Every day, women are making one of the hardest decisions of their lives…to leave what’s hurting them and step into the unknown.

Some make it out.
Some don’t.

This walk is for both.

On October 10th, we’re coming together as a community to honor survivors, remember lives lost, and actively support women and children rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse.

This is bigger than a walk. This year’s walk will feature music, community engagement, team activities, and meaningful moments that remind survivors they are not alone. This is what showing up looks like.

Why This Matters

Domestic violence doesn’t always look the way people expect.

It’s not always visible.
It’s not always reported.
And too many survivors are navigating it alone.

At The I Am House, we meet women right in the middle of crisis and help them move toward safety, stability, and a new beginning.

Whether you walk with us or support from a distance, you are part of that impact.

What Your Support Does

When you register, donate, or fundraise, you’re helping provide:

Emergency hotel stays for women escaping unsafe situations
Safety planning and crisis support
Essentials like transportation, hygiene items, and food

This is not symbolic.

You can still purchase raffle tickets online until the morning of the walk on Saturday, Oct. 10. Every ticket helps us raise awareness and support for survivors.
Walk registration includes light refreshments and one raffle ticket.
