Shay Johnson is a community leader, speaker, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate dedicated to strengthening the High Point community through service, collaboration, and innovation. As the co-founder of High Point Fashion Week, she has helped create opportunities that celebrate local creatives while contributing to the city’s growing creative economy. She recently launched the successful Camp Bloom pilot program in partnership with the High Point Public Library, empowering youth through mindfulness, nutrition, creative arts, music, and fashion. Shay is a member of the Junior League of High Point, the Kitty Congdon Mentoring Series, and NAMI Guilford while volunteering with numerous organizations throughout the Triad. She chose to participate in Dancing With the Stars High Point because, as a mentor, parent, and community leader, she believes deeply in the mission of Communities In Schools. Investing in the next generation is not only rewarding—it is one of the most meaningful and impactful ways to build a stronger future for our community.
