Deadlift Defiance & Drag is hosted by beloved Hollywood Texas & music by our devoted DJ Sucia! 10AM - 1PM • Deadlift Meet 1PM-4PM • Drag Show with Panther, Miss Bea Haven, and Jota Mercury ~ bring dollar bill$ for our performers! Come for joy, resistance, community and celebration! This is a QTBIPOC centered event open to all. Food by our neighbors at Thank Que Grill! Drinks including all ages friendly bubbles, non alcoholic drinks & mimosas! COVID Precautions: - We ask that attendees keep their masks on for indoor aspects to our event 😷☺️. - We always have KN95 & surgical masks available for free at our front door. - Tables and seats for eating will be outdoors. - Athletes have the option of wearing a mask during their lifts. - Drag performers will not be wearing masks during their performance. - Fans and air purifiers will be on. Accessibility Info: - Accessible parking in Embarcadero Cove parking lot. *Please do not park in Carrie Dove parking lot* - Our deadift meet takes place on ground floor & the entrance to the gym is ADA accessible. - There are 2 ADA accessible bathroom on ground floor. 1 additional bathroom up a flight of stairs. -Please refrain from wearing scented products such as perfume, cologne, and fragrant personal care products while using this space.
