Letters to Santa from the Animals at the Cape May County Zoo
Tuesday at 8:00 AM EST
Please join us in showing some holiday love to our animal residents. They have put together their Letters to Santa, and are hoping he makes a stop with some wishlist items this season!
The animals here at the Cape May County Park & Zoo have had a great year. As you are compiling your naughty and nice list for the holidays, please consider adding a few of our wish list items to your Christmas deliveries. We promise we have been very good this year!
To name a few:
The barnyard animals including Jilly the cow would love some new balls to roll around.
The lions, Lex and Bella, would like some ice treats in the summer.
Zelda, the armadillo, has a new waterland tub on the list.
The camels, Marty and Walter, asked for a new sprinkler for summertime fun.
The Giraffes asked for new puzzle feeders.
The Primates are hoping for some bubbles.
The birds would be so happy with some training toys.
And so much more!
Enrichment items are essential for all of the animals at the Cape May County Park & Zoo, as they help to satisfy both the physical and psychological needs of animals and allows them to make choices. Our zookeepers are always introducing new scents, objects, food, and puzzles for the animals in order to stimulate natural behaviors.
Your support of our Giving Tuesday campaign will provide for enrichment activities and some festive fun for all of the animals at the Zoo. Donations can also be made to the Annual Appeal, which will provide funding for future Park & Zoo enhancements and major projects. We thank you for your generous support. Happy Giving Tuesday!
