I have been asked to speak in Lone Tree, CO as part of the Johnny's Ambassadors 3-day conference focused on youth THC use, risk, psychosis, and prevention.

I will be speaking directly to parents who are living a nightmare - one I am all too familiar with. My topic, Addiction and the Tragic Link to Suicide: What Loved Ones Need to Know for Prevention, will dispel common myths about addiction and suicide - as well as provide takeaways that any parent or loved one can implement that will allow them to recognize warning signs and risk factors, address the shame from cannabis misuse and it's link to suicide, and ultimately how to lessen the risk of suicide and improve chances of recovery.

This event is part of a 3-day conference hosted by Johnny’s Ambassadors.

The venue is small, so this will be a relatively intimate gathering - with maximum capacity of 85 attendees. My ability to connect with the parents in this setting will be amazing - and I'd like to give them each something to carry forward the messages they take away from the conference. That is where you come in.

I am looking for one or more sponsors to provide copies of my memoir, Diary of a Broken Mind: A Mother’s Story, a Son’s Suicide and the Haunting Lyrics He Left Behind, to the parent attendees following my presentation.

A friend in Roxborough has generously volunteered to accept and coordinate delivery of all materials, so all monies received will be allocated solely to providing books to struggling parents as part of the POCCIP Conference.

Sponsor(s) will be recognized during the event as well as on my social media platforms and in newsletters. If space and logistics allow for it, a tabletop recognition similar to this will also be included.

If a single sponsor covers the entire or majority amount of the campaign, that sponsor will also be recognized with a recognition sticker affixed to each book with their name/logo - providing brand exposure that will last far beyond the event. Stickers can be designed, ordered, and shipped to us on your own so we can affix them to the books OR we are glad to facilitate that process, too - the cost of this option is included below.

Assuming a full house (85 attendees) - total sponsorship needed:

6 cases (16 books each) @ $240 each (wholesale - includes shipping) = $1,440
1 roll of 1.5" x 1.5" round stickers (100 stickers) with sponsor name/logo/message/qr code = ~ $75

In order to ensure delivery of materials - all sponsorships must be received no later than June 1, 2024.
