📖 The Story

We’re living through the biggest financial shift of our time, and too many people are being left out. That’s why I created The Degen or Blockhead Show — the world’s first live, interactive crypto trivia game show — and Blockchain Bistro, a community outreach program that blends culture, food, and blockchain education.

At the core of everything I do is a commitment to:

These aren’t just buzzwords — they are the guiding values behind every episode, every class, and every workshop.

So far, the journey has already included:

I was invited by the owner of Empire Barber School in Mesa to teach a financial literacy class and have been asked to return for more sessions.

I was also invited by Victoria Fuller, founder of the Rogue Bunnies, to bring the show live to Las Vegas for the Rogue Bunnies Mansion 2.0 Party.

Everything so far has been built independently, with no sponsors or big backers.

Now it’s time to scale Season 3 and expand community workshops, pop-up events, and “Support-a-Plate” catered fundraisers.

🎯 Funding Goals

I’m raising $35,000 to cover:

Production for Season 3 — equipment, editing, and quality upgrades.

Workshops & Classes — expanding Blockchain Bistro into schools, barber/beauty institutions, and community centers.

Team Support — I’ve been a one-man show so far, but I’ll need help with editing, marketing, and social media to grow this mission.

🙋 About Me

My name is Mel Megargel. I’m originally from New Jersey, now living in Arizona. For 14 years, while in New Jersey, I worked as a mortgage loan officer. After moving to Arizona, I shifted directions — teaching financial literacy on a small scale while also starting a food catering business. That catering business was still in its early stages when COVID struck and shut it down.

That setback pushed me fully into my real passion: blockchain technology and financial literacy. For the past seven years, I’ve been teaching, mentoring, and leading group sessions to help people understand digital assets in a way that’s real, grounded, and culturally relevant.

The Degen or Blockhead Show and Blockchain Bistro are the natural next steps in that mission.
