Join Donnie Hammond from Broadway's Moulin Rouge for a Teen Masterclass!

Donnie Hammond, known for her powerhouse vocals and vibrant personality onstage and off, has had a consistent and successful career in theater, including regional theatre across the country and the original Off-Broadway cast of Titanique. Off-Broadway: Titanique. Regional: In the Heights (Walnut Street Theatre, Geva Theatre, Hangar Theatre), Personality: The Lloyd Price Musical (People’s Light Theatre, Studebaker Theater Chicago), The Color Purple (Theatre Horizon). Donnie is currently performing in Moulin Rouge on Broadway.

This class is only available for 12 participants in grades 6-12! Students will prepare a 16-32 bar cut OR a 30-60 second monologue to be workshopped with Donnie and an accompanist. Please come prepared with your sheet music or script and 1-2 questions to ask at the end of the workshop. Donnie will coach each student individually, giving all participants the chance to work on their own piece and learn from the coaching received by others. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A and words of inspiration. Teens will leave this workshop more confident, better prepared, and inspired to reach for their dreams!
