For 20 years, Cooper’s Chance Animal Rescue has been on the road to rescue — saving lives across Arizona, one freedom ride at a time. Since 2006, we’ve rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 10,000 dogs, giving each one the second chance they deserve. From rural shelters with limited resources to city streets where hope runs thin, every life we save begins the same way — with a ride to safety.

Now, as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we’re ready to take the next big step in our lifesaving mission: purchasing our very own transport van — The Bark Bus.

The Bark Bus will be a Freedom Bus, built to transport dogs safely and comfortably from overcrowded rural shelters to rescues, fosters, and adoptive families across the state. Each seat, kennel, and mile represents another life saved. With our own vehicle, we’ll no longer have to rely on borrowed transport or rented vans — we’ll be free to respond faster, reach farther, and save more lives.

Many of Arizona’s rural shelters struggle without the resources or space to care for the growing number of homeless dogs. The difference between life and death for these animals often comes down to one thing: transportation. The Bark Bus will bridge that gap — ensuring every dog has a ride to hope, healing, and home.

This milestone means more than a vehicle — it’s the next chapter in our story. A story built on compassion, dedication, and community.
