Why are drone detectors important?

After the three years of the war, kamikaze drones carrying explosives account for most of the casualties of the war, rather than bullets or shells. These first person view (FPV) strike drones attack medical evacuation and resupply vehicles, trenches and hideouts, and even individual defenders, causing death and destruction in an already difficult situation. As such early detection and warning against these strike drones is very important to save lives and reduce casualties in Ukraine. What is a drone detector?

A wearable drone detector is a compact device designed to detect drones in the vicinity. These detectors typically work by scanning for the radio frequency (RF) signals emitted by drones and their controllers, as well as other communication signals like GPS. These devices might be worn on the body, carried in a backpack, or installed in an evacuation vehicle. Drone detectors are primarily used for personal safety and security and defense applications at the front lines. Some of the best models are manufactured in Ukraine, supporting the war-torn local economy. To help with this protective device – click "Give Detectors!".

Who will receive drone detectors?

The drone detectors will be distributed to individual soldiers based on request received through an application form on our web page from our warehouse location near Rivne (western Ukraine). The devices will be both handed out at the warehouse and mailed to verified recipients by Nova Poshta service to the towns near front lines, where the requesters can pick up the packages.
