D is a 6th grader and naturally gifted volleyball athlete, who finally found a home after surviving a difficult beginning and being removed from her biological parents; who struggled with addiction and instability. D was separated from everyone and everything she knew and ended up in a disastrous foster home until she ultimately found her safe place with her forever family. The one constant in D’s life had been volleyball, but, due to financial constraints her forever family was not able to pay for her to play.

But then, YOU stepped in.

Because of your support D gets to play the sport she loves. Because of you she has a chance at a better life — one filled with stability, safety, and the same opportunities other children have. D lights up when she talks about practice and dreams of one day playing for her school team.

Volleyball gave D confidence, joy, and a sense of belonging…and YOU gave D Volleyball.
