DOUBLE YOUR SUPPORT FOR CLEAN WATER

With your support, Three Rivers Waterkeeper will secure clean water for future generations.

The Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers and their respective tributaries are a valuable resource for millions of people who depend on them for drinking water as well as recreation, transportation, and connection. With freshwater becoming a scarce resource, and access to our waterways diminishing, it is important now, more than ever, to secure clean water for ourselves and future generations.

So far in 2026, we have reach 3,568 community members at 111 outreach and education events. We have also spent 473 hours on the water and took over 320 water quality samples while undertaking 94 advocacy actions, including – actively fighting for accountability in court for 6 major pollution incidents – and we still have over 3 months left of the year!

This coming year, Three Rivers Waterkeeper also has really exciting opportunities to grow our capacity to respond to pollution incidents and provide water-side community education. We are the new stewards of a marina along the Ohio River, and we are so excited to build dock access for our fleet of water vessels, restore and steward a riparian floodplain, and create watershed education at the marina and on the water! We hope to eventually provide public access to our rivers alongside a major industrial corridor.

Our marina along the Ohio River – help us show it some love and bring our dreams to life!

This work is only possible because of generosity and support from our community, and right now your support will be doubled through the end of the year! A family foundation in Pittsburgh has generously agreed to match all donations made between September 15th and December 31st up to $10,000! That means for every dollar you donate to support clean water will be matched!
