The Eagle Public Library Foundation was founded in 2021 and is made up of a group of volunteers that are passionate about supporting Eagle Public Library and the Library’s commitment to serving the community.

Eagle, ID continues to grow in not only population, but also in size, and in order to ensure everyone has access to the services offered by the library the Foundation’s top priority is to raise funds for a mobile library. The Eagle Public Library Foundation hopes to raise $100,000 in order to acquire a transit van and modify it to meet the growing needs of our community.

Will this be a traditional bookmobile? No, our goal is to create a pop-up Library - a modernized version of the bookmobile! The Eagle Public Library will use the mobile library to stop at senior living communities and put on activities for seniors, or childcare facilities with games and programs for kids. They will be able to deliver books and games for kids, digital equipment and large print material for our seniors at various stops in the outlying areas.

Together we can support the Eagle Public Library and provide lifelong education and a strong community for the people of Eagle.
