Momin Mirza's Story
This 5K has meant a lot to me over the last few years because it represents the values that SALT stands for. SALT raises awareness and money for those who are failed by society through the community engagement of this 5K, and this year, the Gabriel’s Horn Homeless Shelter is our partner. Working with Jerry Czarnecki and learning about their work has deepened my commitment to social justice and I hope my participation in SALT’s campaign this year will make at least a small difference to improve the lives of others.
