The Bloomington High School South Band program has proudly provided exceptional music education and performance opportunities to students for over 50 years. Our diverse offerings include participation in concert, jazz, marching, and pep bands, as well as percussion ensembles and various small chamber groups. Students engage in enriching experiences through marching band in the fall, pep band in the winter, and a range of concert and jazz performances throughout the academic year.

The Panther Regiment, South’s esteemed marching band, stands out as the most prominent and celebrated ensemble within our program. Students involved in the Panther Regiment not only advance their musical skills but also cultivate essential values such as teamwork, dedication, and accountability. The Regiment is renowned for its engaging performances and vibrant energy.
