Pierce County Explorer Search and Rescue (PCESAR) is a 100% volunteer organization that responds to emergencies across Pierce County and beyond—searching for missing hikers, supporting disaster response, and helping families in their most vulnerable moments.

We train youth and adult volunteers in lifesaving skills like wilderness rescue, first aid, land navigation, and disaster response—all while building leadership, teamwork, and service to our community.

But we can’t do it without your support.
